Mehmet ŞAHİN, Assoc. Prof. Dr.

Mehmet ŞAHİN, born in 1964, Erdemli/Mersin, (Çiriş Village), completed his primary education in the village and secondary and Lyceee education in Erdemli. Then, he had University Entrance Exam and was admitted to the department of English language and Letters at the Faculty of Letters, Selcuk University, Konya. He completed undergraduate education in 1988, and worked as an English teacher in different cities in Turkey. He received his Master Degree at Gazi University in Ankara (1993), and his PhD degree in 2002 at Selcuk University in Konya. He completed his second doctoral study at the same university in 2010 in Educational Sciences. He worked as Lecturer and then Assist. Prof. Dr. At Selcuk University and then he moved to Yıldız Technical University in Istanbul in 2012. He got the title of Assoc. Prof. Dr. in 2015 and moved to Necmettin Erbakan University in 2017. He is still working at the Department of Educational Sciences. His studies are mainly in Educational Philosophy, Modern and Postmodern Curriculum Development, Adult Education, Critical Thinking and Project Development.
